Softball!!

Well...... Softball is going very well. I am playin shortstop and catcher. Go figure huh?? LOL JK I am having a lot of fun though. This team this year is the best team so far at K-town. Talking about softball, our first game is tomorrow!! yeah! I am so excited. Hopefully we do good. I am sure we will, but you never know till that day comes. Hehe....

Other then softball nothing else is really going on around here. I am suppose to have a friend come on Sunday from Florida. I am SOO excited about that. The only thing is she doesn't have her passport and she has to leave tomorrow. That's the only BAD thing. Supposedly she is getting it today. They were suppose to send it in overnight mail. Since they are leaving for Alabama tonight. Lets just pray she gets her passport, because if not she will lose the money that she has already bought the ticket for. Which isn't good. But the company told her that she will get it today and lets just hope they are right!

Anyways.. We will talk to y'all later. Hope everyone has a fantastic spring break, a great day, and an awesome weekend. We miss you all and cant wait to see everyone.

OUCH!

SOOOOOOoooooo....
Softball officially started. Man O Man is everyone sore. We have to do a fitness test for the school. That includes a mile and a half run, 1 min sit-ups, and 1 min push-ups. Then we had to do a LOT of sprints and so forth. I wasn't sore the first day, but then the second day came around and I am not sore like have been before but a little more sore then what I like to be. LOL :D It is going very well. A whole lot better then the first two years I played. All the girls have great attitudes and just have a heart to learn. We are playing as a team already and it is only the third day. But hey I am not going to complain because that is AWESOME! The weather so far is pretty good. Monday it rained a little bit then cleared up. Then yesterday and today the sun is FINALLY out! It is up in the mid 50 high 40's. Anyways... I thought that I would just let everyone know how tryouts are going. I hope everyone is doing good and you all have a wonderful rest of the week.

YIPPEEEEE only 5 more days!!!!!!!!!

Okay....... So softball finally starts in 5 days. I can not wait. It is going to be very fun this year. We have great coaches and from what I have seen a pretty good team. The only thing is I have to walk or depending on if I get a bike from now till then I will have to ride my bike at least 4 miles. If I walk I will only be walking a lil farther than our village. YIPPEE!!! The only reason I have to do this is because mom gets off of work around 3 and I have to be at practice by 3:30. But it will all work out. Other then that mom is pretty excited to coach again this year. She hasn't coached for about two years. I cant even remember the last time she coached me. It has been a LONG time. But this year should be a little different with her on the field. Especially with the other girls, because they all know her as Kaylin's mom not the "strict" kind!! That is whats going to be fun to watch!! HA HA :P

Anyways... Nothing other then preparing for softball is going on here. I did get my X-ray and ultrasound results back on my mass below my ribs. It is just a prominent rib. I guess God just wanted me to have extra ribs, or just have them stick out! They are right below my actual ribs but there is a small space between the two. That's the prominent rib they are talking about. The only reason the doctor was concerned is because they stick out. I say they because I have one on each side. :D Mom says God gave them to me because he new I would always be diving and rolling around on the softball field. :D I guess she was right! What can I say, I am just DIFFERENT! HA HA Just kiddin! Well I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and a great weekend.

Winter Wonderland!!

Winter in Germany it's a beautiful sight. The picture on the far left was taken just outside our house looking down the path that leads to the mountains (large hills).

Kaylin captures our dogs playing in the snow. It makes them act quite crazily at times.

We have many pictures from this spot on the mountain. It happens to be our favorite spot to enjoy looking at God's beautiful and amazing creation.

Not much to update here in the Hesler household. Kaylin's softball season is soon to begin and we are hoping to make a trip to Illinois in the Spring. We hope to see most of our family members while visiting there and maybe fit in watching a softball game of my cousin's daughter Cassie.
Love to all!
God Bless and Hope to see everyone soon!

Just a lil' info on the Hesler household!!

Well.... Well.... Well..... Since none of us folk here in Germany keep everyone up to date on life, Here it goes!! :D I have been buckling down on school work to get it done in a decent time this year!! Trying to get done with 11th grade and move on to 12th.... :D I only have a few subjects left. YEAH!! Softball season is going to start at the beginning of March. That should be fun. We have a new coach this year so it should be interesting to see how it goes. : )

On moms side of life..... It is just work really. She played Bunko as a fill in on Monday night and then on Thursday we had bible study. Which is always fun to go and fellowship and grow together in the word. Tonight she has some friends coming over and they I'm sure will have a good time together. I will be babysitting!! :D

Then tomorrow we will be going a few places here and there, then dad is suppose to call later on. Sunday we will go to church and then I have softball practice for another team. Mom will stay at church and have a lil lunch with some friends. Well I hope this caught y'all up on the Hesler's life. Not to interesting really!!! Hope everyone has a great Friday and a fantastic weekend!! :D

Brain Overload!

Wow! Has this been a week of mental exhaustion. We are nearing the end of our quarter at school and it is time for all those progress reports and data collection folders to be finished. My brain was on total overload by Friday. But. . . . rest assured I finished all of mine and turned them in just in time to leave work a few minutes early. Yea! Now we have a three day weekend. I love those!!!
I currently have four 4th graders and loving it. I sat through 20 Science project presentations yesterday. Whew! If that wasn't a long afternoon and very interesting to see all of their different projects come to life. By the end I told them all that they had totally wore me out and they all started to laugh and the teacher, Mrs. Stevens said, "Now you feel my pain." "Yes, yes I do," I replied.

So then it snowed. . . . have you ever tried to take a huge group of 6, 7, and 8th graders outside and expect them NOT to throw snowballs? Good Grief! I feel bad for these kids, they beg and beg me to let them go outside and release all of their energy and then they get into trouble because of throwing snowballs. Ugh! The principal was very unhappy with their behavior and I wasn't exactly pleased but I understand that it is a great temptation to put kids out in the snow and then say, " Don't pick up the snow." Unfortunately when one is throwing snowballs and mean to hit one of their friends which is partaking in the snowball throwing, someone innocently standing in the background gets the snowball upside their head or face. That is not good! Now, all of those that were throwing snow are not aloud outside until the snow melts. Seriously, that could be March. Isn't there a better solution to this problem? I say give them another chance and if they disobey then call the parents and give them some after school detention. The principal tells me that she is there at school until 5 or 6 pm every night anyway. I suppose since I am involved in this situation I could stay after one afternoon if that is what it took. I just know that not letting this age group go outside possibly until March, they are already wired enough during lunch period. If they can't go out and relieve some of that overload of energy and hormones their craziness in the lunch and classroom is just going to get worse. Anyway. . . that is how my week ended, in a dilemma. Any ideas or suggestions?

Weather!

Hey everyone!!

Man the weather that ILL is getting is crazy. Along with the other states near by. I thought it was bad here. I guess I will STOP complaining about our weather!! Other then that I saw the news on the yahoo web page about a plane crashing into the Hudson. I am glad for the people that were on it, as the pilot new what to do. It is always nice when you here that a plane crashes and no one is hurt or badly injured. You go PILOT! Cause I would freak out if I saw that we were going towards a huge lake/river full of water. He did a great job of landing the plane and not sinking it!! :D

Anyways, about Germany!! Not much going on here. I am about to leave for a church function. Then tomorrow my friend Tiffany and I are suppose to be going to monkey island. I will have to tell you more about it later because all I know is that it is in France, which is roughly an hour away...... I am pretty excited about it so we will see what this monkey island is all about. LOL :D The weather here is pretty good for now. We have had snow on the ground for at least 2 weeks. It doesn't seem to melt when you live in the mountains because it is always colder here then in town. But oh well... Not much you can do about it. but, that is about it that's going on around this neighborhood!! I hope everything is going well with all of you guys. Hopefully everyone will enjoy there days of from either snow or Martin Luther King day!

Love y'all <3
