Swallowed by Germany?

Okay, okay so I haven't blogged since October. What's the big deal??? NO, Germany did not swallow up the Hesler family, life did! Ha Ha just kiddin' Sorry. . . . Our web page for the blog changed and I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get to our blog. Also, since I am not a computer goo roo I didn't know what our blog web address was either. Excuses, excuses I know but it sounded good at the time.

Really isn't much to catch the family up on here in good ol' Germany. IT'S REALLY REALLY COLD! I would love to come and visit a warmer country with warmer climates about now. Kaylin has officially passed 10th grade since the last time I blogged. She is about halfway through her 11th grade curriculum. YEA!!! And passing with flying colors. I told her the other day that I was soooo ready for her to be a Senior and near graduation. Not ready for her to move out and go to college just ready for her to be done with high school. She agreed! Getting in the spirit for Softball season to start on March 1st. I have been voluntold that my services as the (woman) part of the coaching staff is all mine. Boy, do these girls have a rude awakening coming to them. They all know me as Kaylin's mom but not from a coaching standpoint. Actually, I am more geared towards the disciplinary aspects for the team as a whole. The past two seasons Kaylin has played on this team there has been little to know discipline as far as attitudes and working together as a team and not as individuals. So. . . . . This will be my goal: to teach them that there is a consequence for every dicision that we make. If we work together as a team and try to maintain good attitudes that the morale of the team will be a winner everytime no matter what the scoreboard says.

I do hope and pray that everyone had a Merry Christmas and a great start to the New Year.

SOOOO glad to hear that you didn't get swallowed up! How fun to be a coach of the sport you love. Not sure I would have the courage to do that. I have been out of that loop for way too long. Can you believe your baby is going to graduate?? I know, there comes a time when it's not sappy anymore and you just want to get there. We were just talking about Chelsey only having one summer break left in her life. For high school anyway. Crazy. Keep us posted, love to hear from you.
